Privacy Policy

Dodgy Balloon

This privacy policy applies to the Dodgy Balloon app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Tunisian Game Development Company TGDC (collectively, the "Application"). Tunisian Game Development Company TGDC is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects certain information when you download and use it. This information may include:

A unique player identifier assigned to your account by Unity Gaming Services;
The player name you choose, which is shown publicly on the leaderboard;
Your game scores and progress, which are saved to your account and, for connected accounts, may be shown on the worldwide leaderboard;
Your device's advertising identifier, used to deliver advertising;
Device information, such as device model and operating system version;
Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, which is transmitted when the Application communicates with online services.

You are not required to create an account with an email address or password to play. You may play as a Guest, or sign in with a platform account to appear on the worldwide leaderboard and back up your progress.

Account Types

Guest: an anonymous account stored only on your device. Guest scores are not shared on the worldwide leaderboard, and guest data cannot be recovered if the Application is reinstalled.
Connected account (Google Play Games on Android, Game Center on iOS): lets your progress and leaderboard position be saved to your account and restored on another device. Sign-in is handled by the platform provider using your existing platform account; the Service Provider receives a sign-in token and a player identifier, not your platform password.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Application or its third-party SDKs may use SDKs, device identifiers, and similar technologies to support functionality, advertising, and service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. You can delete your account and associated data directly in the Application (see "Account and Data Deletion" below) or by contacting the Service Provider at direction@tgdc-games.com. To withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the same address.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at direction@tgdc-games.com.

The Service Provider may use the information you provide to send important information and required notices.

Third Party Access

The Application uses third-party services to provide core features — accounts, leaderboards, saved games, advertising, and purchases. Some of your information is shared with these services as needed to provide those features:

Your advertising identifier and device information are shared with the advertising provider to deliver ads;
Your player name and scores are shared with the leaderboard service and are visible to other players;
Your player identifier and saved game data are stored by the accounts and cloud-save service so your progress can be restored on another device.

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own privacy policies regarding how they handle data. Below are the third-party service providers used by the Application:

Unity — Unity Gaming Services (authentication, leaderboards, cloud save), Unity Ads, and Unity In-App Purchasing
Google Play Services and Google Play Games
Google Play Billing

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

International Data Transfers

The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms, such as:

Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission;
Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms;
Your consent, where required and legally permitted.

Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. You can also delete your account and associated data at any time from within the Application (see "Account and Data Deletion") or by contacting direction@tgdc-games.com. Uninstalling stops the Application from collecting data from your device, but it does not automatically delete information that has already been transmitted to the Service Provider or to third parties.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:

Account data (player identifier, name, scores, saved progress): retained while your account exists. When you delete your account, this data is deleted as described in "Account and Data Deletion".
Automatically collected data (e.g., advertising and device information handled by third-party SDKs): retained by those providers in accordance with their own policies and applicable law.
Aggregated and anonymized data: retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you.
Data required for legal compliance (e.g., purchase records held by the app store): retained as long as required by applicable law.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.

Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age in violation of applicable law. If the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, it will immediately delete it from its servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at direction@tgdc-games.com so that the necessary actions can be taken.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information it processes and maintains. Saved game data on your device is stored in an encrypted, integrity-protected form, and communication with online services is encrypted in transit.

Data Breach Notification

If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.

Changes

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with a new effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect. Previous versions will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting direction@tgdc-games.com.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-08-25.

Your Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.

Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your Dodgy Balloon account and all data associated with it at any time.

In the app: open Settings, go to the Account section, tap Delete Account, and confirm. This deletes your account and all associated data immediately; deleted data cannot be recovered.
By email: if you can no longer open the app, email direction@tgdc-games.com with the subject line "Delete my account", and include the player name or player ID shown in the app's Settings so we can locate your account. Requests are processed within 30 days.

Data that is deleted: your account identity (player ID); your leaderboard entry, including your score and name; your cloud-saved progress (coins, skins, power-ups, and high score); and game data stored on your device.

Data that is retained: records of the "Remove Ads" purchase are handled and retained by Google Play for legal and financial purposes and are not stored by the Service Provider. No other data is retained.
